Introduced in 1996 the Isuzu Wizard was a mid size vehicle option, something bigger than an Isuzu MU but not quite as big as an Isuzu Bighorn. All Japanese assembled Wizards up until the first half of 1998 were powered by the ever popular 3.1L 4JG2 turbo diesel, after this date they were powered by either the 3.0L dohc 4JX1 turbo diesel or the 3.2L 6VD1 V6 petrol engine.
